 DWIGHT WRITES
Sometimes I wonder how we in the church can help others to deal with their spiritual lives.  It seems that this a matter that each one of us must decide to deal with, IF it’s going to be dealt with.  No one can force us to care for our spirit and no one can care for our spirit for us.  We can grow in our love of God and mirror/model that love in our lives, but there is no guarantee that others will notice, nor that it will make a difference for others.
Sometimes each one of us will get discouraged and wonder about how to best move ahead in our faith.  I continue to hope that we will ever be intentional about nurturing our spiritual life and growing evermore in love with God and each other.  I understand that it is possible for growth to happen in lots of different settings, but I believe one of the most likely places is within the life of the church.
The church a place where each one of us can hear, experience and feel the love of God, and where we can grow in our relationship with God and each other.  I hope that you will receive what the church has to offer and that you will offer/share yourself as an encouragement to others.  Each one of us can be thankful for those who have gone before us, offering their lives and love.  Might we do the same.
Blessings & Peace,  Pastor Dwight
