 This & That …
· Thanks to all those who contributed to the VBS—”Wishing Well” program.  The amount raised so far is $713.17.  For every $1.25 donated, one person in Africa can have access to clean water.  That means about 571 people can have clean water. Something we take for granted.  It sure make a person feel good to help others, doesn’t it.

 Dwight Writes:
In every endeavor in life it is important to take stock from time to time, evaluating where we have been and where we are going.  One of the ways our local church is going to do this will take place on Sunday, September 14 during morning worship.
Everyone present that day will be invited to participate by filling out a Congregational Assessment Form.  There will be 9 categories for each of us  to respond to; rating them fro 1 (low) to 9 (high).  The items that will be evaluated are:
1. Clarity of the mission of our church.
2. Outreach and mission
3. Passion for Evangelism
4. Spirituality
5. Quality worship
6. Faith formation
7. Stewardship and generosity
8. Hospitality
9. Connectionisms

This evaluation will be helpful for the Administrative Council as they not only evaluate our ministry, but make plans and goals to move ahead into the future
I’m grateful for all the ways we share in ministry together. ~~Pastor Dwight
